Our site in Bishop’s Stortford manufactures the brand leading retail flour, Allinson’s. With 24/7 operations, we employ around 65 people and produce a wide range of flours for both our own brand and several retailer own-label.

As an integral part of our Food Safety and Quality Compliance team we are looking for a Food Safety and Quality Compliance Team Leader, supporting a small team of Hygiene Operatives. This role has a strong focus on making good quality day-to-day food safety decisions and creating appropriate instruction, training and verification processes to ensure the site is maintained to the best standards of hygiene possible.

You will also be responsible for proactively engaging with operational teams onsite to assist and support in retaining the site standards. In addition, you will play a leading role in both internal and external audits, demonstrating site compliance and high standards in accordance with our site Food Safety agenda.

We are looking for a Food Safety Quality Compliance Team Leader with experience, interest and passion for working within food manufacturing. You will have completed food safety and HACCP training, preferably within a FMCG organisation. You will demonstrate tenacity, energy and commitment to achieve the desired results through continuing to develop site standards and improvement ideas.
